Kim has been Special Counsel to Wood, Ris & Hames, P.C. since December 1999. She maintains a general civil practice focusing on the representation of business clients for both transactional and litigation needs. She has experience with the selection and formation of business entities as well as providing ongoing legal counsel for continuing business operations. Her transactional services include drafting entity formation documents and the drafting and review of contracts, buy-sell agreements, other shareholder agreements, asset purchase agreements, license agreements, employment agreements, preparation of federal, state and local registration forms, and the drafting and review of commercial leases. Kim has litigation experience in the areas of general business and commercial law, civil rights, landlord/tenant issues and contract disputes. Kim regularly participates in seminars and speaking engagements on the legal aspects of starting or purchasing a business.
